Server Suggestion Megathread

In an effort to condense threads and centralize topics, all suggestions for the GAME/SERVER should be posted here. This will hopefully make it easier for Palidino to look at the latest server suggestions without having to go through a historical amount of 30 pages to read through.

A Collection of Small Suggestions

Spoiler for :

• The staff of the dead and the Toxic staff of the dead both use the halberd attack animations on OSRS, currently they don't
• Adding ardy / wildy agility coureses.
• Add Master clues to superior monsters' drop tables.
• Make the ring of nature and ring of coins work
• Kalphite Queen
• Coloured staff names in game
• Proper degradation of armor ( Barrows, Tent whip )
• Master clues given via skilling ( Nests, Geodes, Bottles ) 1/1k chance of drop
• God Wars wilderness dungeon for ecumenical keys
• Motherlode mine
• Blast Furnace ( have it so it'd be always be running w/o players required )
• Fishing guild expansion + Minnow fishing
• Add a 30 minute agro timer for non boss monsters.
• RoW banking seeds
• Pyre for chewed bones
• Get sounds working for combat
• Add split option on abyssal tentacles to split them into whip/tent
• Add Ardougne Agility Rooftop Course.
• Make Skotizo count as a monster on a Black Demons task

Clue Scrolls From Clan Wars

Suggestion: add a clue scroll reward for clan wars, master for first place, elite second etc. on top off the gp.

Boss Slayer additions & "earn whilst you skill"

Bones to peaches spell, 3500 pts (tabs 15 pts ea?)
Ecumenical keys, 200 pts ea
Slayer ring (Possibly tele's you in front of boss doors? 20 charges?), 850 pts
Corrupted armour, not sure on points

Skilling point Shop:

Coal bag
Xp boost scrolls (boosts certain skilling xp for a time period)
Evil chicken outfit
Gp Caskets (as skilling gives almost no profit atm)

Addition of new skin colours

I agree. One thing though, add these but only be able to change your skin colors to one of these 3 if you've obtained a certain amount of kills within the wilderness.(250-500). Could help increase the lack of pking.

Max Cape Perks

Edgeville PVP

Edgeville PvP (Instanced fighting outside of Edgeville bank (and throughout the entirety of the world (Except banks)[/b]
- Fighting bosses within this instanced world would reward you bloodmoney as do the bosses in the wilderness do now (ofcourse this is all at your own risk)
- Make it a Blood Money hot-spot so players actually have a reason to PK within the PvP instance
- Within the instance, dying will place you within the Edgeville bank
- Add either the retoration pool or an NPC that restores health and special energy within the bank itself (Remove the chairs and tables etc)
- You will get emblems from killing players once every 5 minutes (Or some other way because you would not get targets in this PvP instance, and players would not get targets from the current wilderness in this area)

Palidino's replies:

Mining guild, new arrows, wyverns, etc - I'm all for the newest OSRS content, however this content will require a cache update which also means a ton of new map xteas will have to be collected from OSRS. To save the trouble of having to collect more/re-collect map keys that could potentially change from now until the gargoyle boss release, I'm saving a cache update for after that happens.

Platinum tokens/holiday rares - both being considered. One of the main considerations is to have coins and items convertable into platinum tokens possibly with either no way to convert them back or have them converted back for less than it cost to have them converted to platinum tokens initially. In addition to this, platinum tokens would be used to purchase holiday rares, thus allowing a sink for both coins and items, and bringing in the requested platinum tokens and rares for staking.

OpenGL improvements - Jagex has already created an OpenGL loader for OSRS but appears to be on hold to be released alongside mobile. Because they are releasing it though, no more time will be put into OpenGL when theirs will run much more smoothly anyway.

Further cutting down hardcore/ironman shops - Both modes have been released long enough that it wouldn't really be worth doing, not to mention most (but not all) of the items in the shops for those two modes are either in a shop on OSRS that you can access as a level 3 or are locked behind just a few quests.

A few things

A more reliable way to recharge special attack, because once you have finished all of the miniquests you have to die to Zulrah to get your special back
- Make the pool in edgeville remove your skull on the first sip, then after a 5-15 second cooldown you can drink again to restore special energy

For the Rare Loot Rates interface you should also add the boosts the player currently has, IE: You currently have Gold Member so your drop rate has been lowered and total up the percentages all the boosts combined provide the boosted drop rates (Well, Voting, Gold Member(RoW aswell), Instances)

Remove herb boxes from vote shop, add an NPC in falador park where we can exchange mole skins & claws for them instead. Could work in the future with seeds for farming as well.

Please yess, annoying af when you keep getting iron tasks and don't wanna spend 100 points to block lul, rather kill get bones + change at visage
