Economy Reset

Voting no. If your gonna reset the economy, you minds aswell go for a full reset of the server, including stats.

I'm voting no.

My reasoning behind that is because new players would be getting screwed because there are those of you who have been playing since release. OSRS and RS3 don't reset after players get Bills and get bored. Having this many items/wealth into the game is just because of the longevity of play time. Pali would have to reset the server every so often to keep this from happening. Might as well be a deadman mode server at that point.

A reset of any kind isn't going to change anything. Our current economy isn't that bad compared to past servers, and even better when compared to most other RSPS. There are RSPS that have been running for years without a reset that are in a MUCH worse state but keep pushing on fine with players (way more than us), I imagine for one because those players are confident a reset isn't something to be worried about.

Your first point doesn't make sense. I haven't stopped adding content, and turning off the server for some period of time to do so doesn't make sense. Not only that, but we have the majority of content compared to when we first opened, not to mention more skills than any past BS server has ever had.

For your point two, there is a reason why there aren't BTS and updates daily. I/Programming only move so fast, I'm not sure why you would expect a server reset to change this.

I think the bigger problem is that there's a lack of things to do currently when players achieve end game content. Maybe you can look at this as players achieve end game content to fast IE Raids items, Spirit Shields etc or you view it that you need to add more activities for players to do end game IE Raids, Inferno.

There is no doubt about it the player base will not change what so ever and die off soon with the state of the current economy, don't get me wrong I understand If you're an Ironman that's a lot of grind out the window. I'm sorry but a full year without a reset with a player base that peaks at about 60 is just chaos, I can log out for a week and an item hasn't sold for half the item is worth.. The community isn't big enough to keep a stable economy going for over a year.

I 100% agree get the word out whilst reset is in progress and let players play spawn for a while where all the new comers and the old players will come back n wait for the reset whilst enjoying and getting used to the mechanics of the game again.


Lastly a MUST is adding rare shop in duel, non of these stupid black worthless rares n rainbow junk they're just killing the economy even more..

I think XP combat rates should be slower for non iron men. The wildy is pretty much dead other than those who PK pvm'ers and ironmen. I know I started off on a non iron account and got bored quickly because there was no joy in leveling. I went to an iron account had am having a lot more fun with the game. I had all 99 combat stats on my norm account by the time I got a black mask and d def because the leveling is so fast.

That won't do anything, most people who are in the RSPS community want fast XP rates. Otherwise they'd just stick to 07.

I have seen pkers quit because it too long to level up even though its fast. I think a hard mode is the answer to those who want more of a challenge but not quite iron man. I know I loved my hard mode BS before this one

voted yes, purely because this game is no incentive to this game, maxed and rich in less than one day, walk along the bank and youll find random ags's being dropped ect.

eco has always been fucked, not as noticeable with more players, bs2-scapewars every eco was fucked lol

resets never worked but neither has anything else palis done past 2 years so idk whats best
