Hardmode/Group Ironman Combat XP Rates

It's everything the current ironman mode is (slow XP, lower coin drops, limited shops, no GE, having to do quests, etc) but with trading other players also on that mode. I guess the real question would be which sounds more appropriate, hard mode or group ironman.

Hard Mode Sounds better.

When I think of group iron man I imagine myself starting off & having to setup a "group" with up to 10 people before we can actually begin playing. We can trade actively within our starting group, however anybody else outside that group cannot be interacted with.
