Honestly feel like the incentive just isn't really there. People are going to grind just to grind, and see OSRSGP more as a bonus. This isn't attracting anybody outside to play; only those here, to compete. The highest reward is 50m and that's like $30-35 worth of gold for probably what like 200+ hours (or something don't know). It's generous, but as someone who's played and maxed on every battlescape release/gamemodes, I don't see the tradeoff. Being the first to max hardcore will be a goal people already have set, the GP reward isn't a motivation. Same goes for rest..
